As someone who skews conservative/libertarian, I read "Brave New World," "1984," "Fahrenheit 451" and "Animal Farm" in the last several years to be reminded again (after having read the books in the 1960s) of the liberty and freedom that an overweening and ideologically driven bureaucracy takes from individuals. It was the Obama adminstration that I view as threatening our rights under the Constitution.
